Job Summary
The VP – Specialized Sales leads the growth strategy for CRST’s Specialized Solutions business unit, with a focus on high-value products (HVP) and white-glove service offerings. This role is responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team, securing new revenue streams and delivering exceptional service solutions to customers with complex, high-touch transportation needs. The VP acts as a market-facing leader with deep industry connections, driving innovation and strategic partnerships to differentiate CRST in the space.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute a sales approach focused on HVP and white-glove transportation services
- Team Development: Build and lead a specialized sales organization from the ground up aligned with growth and profitability goals
- Industry Relationships: Leverage existing contacts to secure new business and accelerate revenue growth
- Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted partner to customers with complex, high-touch service requirements
- Process & Metrics: Establish scalable sales processes and performance KPIs to drive accountability and results
- Market Intelligence: Monitor trends and competitor activity to refine offerings and drive differentiation
- Accountability & Reliability: Maintain regular and reliable attendance while performing other duties as assigned to support team and business needs
- Sales Leadership: 5+ years of experience leading sales efforts in white-glove, high-value or specialized transportation
- Team Build-Out: Proven track record building sales teams and launching new revenue channels
- Strategic Execution: Experience designing and executing scalable sales strategies for long-term growth
- Industry Network: Established relationships with specialized logistics or high-value transportation sectors
- Contracts & Pricing Knowledge: Strong understanding of SLAs, pricing models and customer-specific transportation requirements
- Industry Focus: Experience in sectors such as medical equipment, electronics, aerospace, trade shows or high-end retail where transportation requires specialized handling, high service levels and complex customer needs
- Education: Four-year college degree or relevant certifications
- Leadership Style: Hands-on leader who drives performance and innovation
- Communication: Strong communicator with executive presence and relationship-building skills
- Collaboration: Proven ability to influence across functions and deliver aligned business outcomes
- Enablement Strategy: Experience with team build-outs, sales enablement and territory planning
- Integrity: High ethical standards and commitment to partnership and respect
