Overview

HireRight is seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Professional Services to lead the transformation of our customer implementations and enablement functions. This role will focus on dramatically reducing time to value, earning customer trust, and building a world-class professional services program that delivers exceptional outcomes. The VP will play a pivotal role in shaping HireRight’s customer journey, ensuring every client experiences seamless and exceptional delivery and enablement, setting them up for long-term success.

As a member of the senior leadership team, the VP of Professional Services will work cross-functionally to align teams, scale operations, and implement innovative strategies that set new benchmarks for customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Transformational Leadership

  • Redesign and implement a Professional Services strategy focused on reducing time to value and delivering measurable customer trust + success.
  • Build and scale a world-class program, introducing best practices and innovative solutions and operating rhythms to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Inspire and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.


Customer Trust & Relationship Building

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, building confidence and credibility throughout the implementation journey.
  • Actively engage with customers during onboarding, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Partner with our Sales and Customer Success Teams to ensure a seamless transitions and high-level of connectivity to drive long-term satisfaction and loyalty.


Operational Excellence

  • Establish metrics and KPIs (e.g., time to value, project completion rates, and customer satisfaction) to measure and optimize program performance.
  • Drive process & structural improvements, automation, and scalability across all aspects of Professional Services operations.
  • Implement robust project management methodologies to ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes.


World-Class Customer Enablement

  • Oversee the development of comprehensive customer enablement programs, including training, documentation, and ongoing support resources.
  • Equip customers with the knowledge and tools they need to maximize the value of HireRight’s solutions.
  • Drive innovative approaches to enablement, leveraging technology and best practices to deliver impactful, scalable programs.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales to align on customer expectations and ensure smooth handoffs between teams.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to provide feedback from implementations and influence product improvements.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align Professional Services strategy with HireRight’s overall business objectives.


Customer-Centric Innovation

  • Introduce customer-first innovations that enhance the implementation experience and drive faster ROI.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, adopting new technologies and methodologies to improve service delivery.
  • Lead the organization in creating a Professional Services model that differentiates HireRight in the marketplace.


Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in professional services, customer enablement, or related roles, with significant experience driving transformational change, particularly within Technology Companies.
  • Demonstrated success in reducing time to value and building customer trust through exceptional service delivery.
  • Proven ability to design and scale world-class professional services programs in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Deep expertise in project management, process optimization, and operational scalability.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a focus on using data to drive decision-making and measure impact.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging customers at all levels.


Preferred Experience:

  • Background in SaaS, HR solutions, or technology industries.
  • Familiarity with enterprise implementation tools and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Workday).
  • Experience leading global teams and scaling operations across multiple regions.
