VP, Controller

The Vice President, Controller oversees the company's external and internal financial reporting requirements, preparation of financial reports, maintenance of internal controls and the company’s accounting requirements, including corporate accounting policies, technical GAAP research and external audit oversight.

Manage all efforts ensuring the appropriate internal controls are in place and takes the lead role in attaining and maintaining compliance with best practices.

Collaborate with the CFO and head of Financial Planning & Analysis to monitor the company’s compliance with loan agreements.

Oversees the company’s payroll manager. Supervises the outside service providers who handle the company’s income and local taxes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics or related field, or equivalent specific experience.

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in accounting positions of increasing responsibility within a respected organization of similar scale and dynamics.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a director level position which included external reporting and financial oversight responsibilities.

• Advanced knowledge of GAAP requirements, accounting functions, and internal controls.

• Intermediate experience with accounting functions in a manufacturing environment and international operations.

• Strong ability to lead and motivate multi-functional staff.

• Intermediate experience with an ERP system.

• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
