The Position

As a Vice President of Clinical Operations at Panorama Eyecare, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver the best eyecare. The Role

The Vice President of Clinical Operations will contribute to the fulfillment of Panorama Eyecare’s mission statement by?overseeing operations, growth, integration, and strategy for a group of Panorama Clinics and Ambulatory Surgery Centers. This role requires a dynamic leader adept at patient care excellence, data driven decision making, strategic thinking, and strong business and financial acumen. This role will optimize clinic and ASC operations, foster relationships with medical providers, build culture through strong leadership, serve as a liaison between clinics, ASCs and senior leadership and be at the forefront of industry trends and best practices within Optometry and Ophthalmology.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement growth strategies for the ophthalmic practices within the designated market, aligning with the broader organizational goals.
  • Operational Management: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all practices, optimizing patient flow, resource allocation, and clinic efficiency.
  • Patient Experience: Ensure that all practices prioritize patient satisfaction, resolving any patient concerns or feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, and ensuring profitability of each practice.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and mentor Service Line Leaders, ensuring ongoing professional development and high employee engagement.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure that all practices adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices to deliver consistent, high-quality patient care.
  • Marketing & Branding: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the brand within the market, ensuring a consistent brand message and maximizing patient acquisition.
  • Relationship Building: Foster and maintain relationships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other medical professionals, facilitating collaborative partnerships and referrals.
  • Performance Analysis: Continuously evaluate the performance of each practice through key metrics, implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest ophthalmic industry trends, technologies, and best practices, ensuring the practices remain competitive.
  • Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Work with operations leadership in the negotiation of vendor agreements as well as ensure that supply chain logistics are efficient and cost-effective.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges, creating contingency plans and strategies to address them.
  • Community Engagement: Represent the brand in community events and initiatives, bolstering its reputation and outreach in the local market.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives across practices, driving efficiencies and elevating patient care standards.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on the market's performance, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with overarching organizational objectives.

Requirements

Who You Are:

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records systems and other patient experience support technologies required.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with an ability to quickly and dependably resolve issues and concerns.
  • Strong process improvement mindset with experience leading projects and large-scale change initiatives.
  • Proven experience developing short- and long-term strategies that contribute to the growth of the organization with the ability to translate complex strategies into actionable plans. Partners with Executive Leadership to inform organization-wide strategic direction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and proven track record of leverage data to drive decision making.
  • Proven leadership and culture-building abilities in a multi-location setting.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership position required; minimum 5 years' healthcare experience required.
  • Professional experience in managing multiple medical practices.
  • MBA/MHA preferred.

Additional Job Details

  • This is a Full-Time position based in Colorado, requiring travel between assigned locations.
  • Compensation for this role will be $155,000- $175,000 annually based on experience/certification.
  • This is a bonus eligible position.
