The Vice President (VP) of Business Development is responsible for growing client revenue within an assigned area or geography for the company. Specifically, the VP of Business Development, Digital, will focus on growing our Digital Functional Roles for Marketing & Creative. The VP will report directly to the TTS geography leader in an assigned territory.
The primary responsibility for the VP is customer acquisition, expansion and retention within the assigned geography. In addition, the Vice President will provide support for the enhancement of the Digital knowledge within the assigned geographic area and know-how when representing this specialized skill set.

The Vice President (VP) of Business Development is responsible for growing client revenue within an assigned area or geography for the company. Job Responsibilities
Business Development Responsibilities (80% of time)
- Conduct business development activities for the specialized Digital business (see activity expectations).
- Set and conduct a minimum of 10 self-generated client meetings per week.
- Focus on client development, penetration and expansion within the assigned target list
- Achieve personal job order goals, starts goals and gross margin targets as assigned by the manager
- Select well-matched candidates to fulfill client job orders and maintain on-going contact with client companies and contract professionals
- Resolve any customer service issues quickly and efficiently to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct effective meetings, trainings and presentations as directed by the manager
- Attend joint client meetings (CVs & JO intake calls) to drive Digital revenue and demonstrate to team members how to grow the Digital business
- Reinforce the Digital learnings and upskilling within the assigned geographic area to ensure consistent operational and business development messages are supported
- Be the Go-To person for any Digital advice needed within the Practice Group
- Collaborate and Share Best Practices with the other VPs across TTS through Roundtable meetings
- Communicate and uphold Robert Half’s corporate vision and values
- Reinforce the importance of maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence
- Promote and support a work environment where diversity and inclusion are championed
- Support and encourage adoption of the Robert Half codes of business conduct and ethics and the corporate compliance and ethics programs
- Lead with character, build trust, respect and credibility through actions and behaviors
- 5+ years as a top performing individual, with a strong understanding of the Digital business
- Demonstrated success in business generation, leading and driving business development.
- Ability to have meaningful conversations and meetings with senior-level executives regarding their business that will result in long-term client relationships
- History of generating and exceeding business development and revenue goals
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
