VCA Hillsboro Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced full time Veterinary Technician, CVT, or non licensed experienced veterinary assistant to join the team at our AAHA-accredited 4-doctor practice in Coconut Creek.

We provide Primary Care, Surgery, Dentistry, and more, open Monday 7:30am - 8pm, Tuesday through Thursday 7:30am - 7pm, Friday 7:30am - 6pm, Saturday 8am - 4pm, closed Sunday.

As a Veterinary Technician, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

About The Role

- Compassionate patient care
- Client education and care
- Venipuncture and catheter placement
- Radiology and diagnostics
- Lab sample collection and processing
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Dentistry
- Medication preparation and administration
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Medical recordkeeping
