Veterinary Technician (Full-Time)

If you’ve got hands-on experience, a big heart, and a love for teamwork (and toe beans), we want to talk to you! Stamford Veterinary Center is on the lookout for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated, close-knit crew.

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll be a vital member of our medical team — supporting our doctors, comforting our patients, and delivering top-notch care that keeps tails wagging and clients smiling. We take pride in doing things the right way, and we’re looking for someone who shares that passion.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist veterinarians in exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
  • Monitor anesthesia and post-op recovery with confidence and care
  • Perform blood draws, catheter placements, radiographs, and lab tests
  • Educate clients on medications, procedures, and preventative care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper patient documentation
  • Provide compassionate nursing care and advocate for your patients
  • Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and fully stocked
  • Be an essential part of a team that supports, trusts, and has fun together


What You Bring to the Team:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician (required)
  • Proficiency in venipuncture, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, and dental cleaning a plus
  • Calm under pressure, compassionate in all situations, and team-oriented
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to educate pet owners
  • A positive attitude, great work ethic, and a genuine love for animals
  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work on your feet in a fast-paced environment
