Acadian's Fleet department has an immediate opening for a Vehicle Repair Estimator to join their team in Lafayette, LA.

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for documenting and managing all Acadian related vehicle accidents. This role will collaborate closely with Risk Management to provide required documentation and will also assist with appraisal and validation of vehicle assets.

REPORTS TO: Director of Fleet

EQUIPMENT: Pens, paper, notebooks, manuals, catalogs, notes, purchase order books, computer, calculator

Documentation Of All Acadian Related Accidents To Include

• Certified estimate of vehicle repair
• 360 photos of unit post-accident
• Download and storage of vehicle history pulled from PCM
• Document all findings
• Work Directly with Acadian Risk Management Division to include:
• Provide all related documents requested
• Manage and control communications of any litigation hold or documentation requiring Acadian to hold any and all assets
• Assist in validation and appraisals of vehicle assets during and growth or acquisition projects
• All other duties assigned
• Able to travel, to include multiple nights and weekends.
  

Qualifications

• High School or GED required
• Mechanical knowledge, parts buying
• Certified in repair estimates for vehicles, ICAR certified
• Telephone skills; reading; writing; math; organizational skills, computer
• Current and valid state-issued driver’s license
