Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Full-Time Urgent Care Role | Central California
A well-established medical group in Central California is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Urgent Care team. This is a weekday-only position offering a great mix of autonomy, support, and work-life balance—ideal for a provider who enjoys the fast pace of urgent care but wants to avoid the chaos of the emergency department.
Position Overview
– Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no weekends)
– Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care
– Patient Types: Broad mix of acute and minor urgent conditions including:
– Sprains, strains, cuts, and minor burns
– Respiratory infections, colds, flus, sinus/ear infections
– GI issues, rashes, back pain, and minor injuries
Compensation & Benefits
– Salary: $140,000–$145,000 annually
– 15 days of vacation annually (increases to 4 weeks after 3 years)
– Paid sick leave and holidays per organizational policy
– CME: 5 paid days + up to $2,100/year reimbursement
– Licensure, DEA, and one professional membership covered
– Full medical, dental, and vision insurance (options for dependents)
– Life insurance and long-term disability included
– 403(b) retirement plan with 100% employer match up to 5% of salary
– Productivity bonus: $10 per encounter beyond 22/day, paid quarterly
