About The Role
We are looking for a Trust & Safety Engineer who is passionate about building safe, high-quality online experiences for both creators and fans. In this role, you’ll use your full-stack engineering expertise to design and implement systems that protect users, prevent abuse, and foster trust across the platform.
You will work closely with product, design, and infrastructure teams to understand complex user journeys and build thoughtful, scalable solutions that balance safety, freedom of expression, and platform integrity.

Compensation: $120k - $200k base salary + options.

About The Role
We are looking for a Trust & Safety Engineer who is passionate about building safe, high-quality online experiences for both creators and fans. In this role, you’ll use your full-stack engineering expertise to design and implement systems that protect users, prevent abuse, and foster trust across the platform.
You will work closely with product, design, and infrastructure teams to understand complex user journeys and build thoughtful, scalable solutions that balance safety, freedom of expression, and platform integrity.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain trust and safety features across the favorited platform.
- Build full-stack solutions using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deeply understand user journeys and identify risks.
- Implement proactive systems for detecting and mitigating abuse, fraud, and harmful content.
- Monitor and improve platform safety through rigorous testing, data-driven insights, and user feedback.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to balance user experience with trust and safety needs.
- Stay ahead of industry best practices and emerging threats to continually strengthen our trust and safety systems.
- 5+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience.
- Proficiency with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and GCP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think through complex user journeys.
- Experience building systems that prioritize safety, integrity, or compliance at scale.
- Passion for creating safe, high-quality online experiences for users.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work across engineering, product, and design teams.
- Bonus: Experience in trust & safety, security engineering, content moderation, or abuse prevention.
Compensation: $120k - $200k base salary + options.
