Job Title: Trust Funding Coordinator

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Work Hours: Full Time, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Work Location: In office (SD), Hybrid.

Salary Range: $28.45 to $34.85/hour

Summary: The primary responsibility of the Trust Funding Coordinator is to link, associate, and/or review the roughly $1B that comes into the Trust each year. Once deposits are identified, they must be associated with distribution requests.? This complex procedure involves the use of software, research, and customer interaction if customer’s processing has not been completed.? Allocation of funds is the final process in the deposit cycle that allows checks to be written to participants. Allocation cannot be performed unless the funds balance, that is, that the amount deposited exactly equals the amount requested in the distribution.

Essential Duties

  • Management of funding

Responsibilities

  • Linking Deposits:
  • Receive bank transactions and link according to deposit information
  • Associating Deposits:
  • Match Distributions needing Deposit Funds to Deposits with Remaining Funds
  • Allocate the funds to each participant associated with that distribution
  • Process out of balance association requests, per client instructions
  • Reviewing order lines:
  • Approve all correct order lines for processing
  • Pause order lines with errors
  • Back-up review of National Registry Website and related functions
  • Manage returned/rejected wires and ACHs.
  • Research and follow up on out of balance plans
  • Research and follow up on all unidentified monies received by the Trust Department
  • Other duties as assigned

  • General knowledge of: ERISA and DOL regulations as they apply to the company’s core business.
  • 1099-R tax code Knowledge
  • Trust Accounting Experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including, but not limited to, Excel and Word, as well as familiarity with Salesforce preferred

Education And Experience

  • Degree or equivalent experience: associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Years of experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in fund management and/or related role and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Specialized training in funding platform (Amplify, or otherwise)

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
