Pay Rate: $16.50

The Transporter position is responsible for moving residents from one location to another. This position affords employees the opportunity to gain experience in the healthcare field.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Ability to learn on the job
• Ability to work with a variety of disabilities and personalities
  
  

Specific Job Duties And Responsibilities

• The Transporter reports to either the Director of Recreation or the Director of Rehabilitation
• Follows direction from direct supervisor to maintain the transporting needs of the residents
• Must notify or document direct supervisor of any resident’s absence or refusal of schedule services
• Other defined job duties that ensure the safety of the residents
• Other defined duties called upon in an emergency
