Position Summary

As a member of the Training Department, the Training Specialist will develop, implement and monitor clinical trainings as determined by the Director of Training in consultation with the Senior Director.

Core Duties And Responsibilities

  • Conduct New Hire Documentation as needed.
  • Knowledge and training in Evidenced Based Practices.
  • Support Evidenced Based Practices certification of staff.
  • 1:1 Site Specific Staff Targeted Trainings on clinical topics as requested.
  • Provide Clinical Supervision as requested.
  • Attend meetings with the Quality Assurance/ Improvement team, Training Department and Directors to collaborate to ensure cohesive on boarding and clinical Trainings.
  • Coordinate with sites and DMH Training Coordinators to facilitate staff attendance at DMH, CIBHS and other trainings.
  • Ensure timely capture of training opportunities for staff and ensure staff training substitution as needed.
  • Facilitate and coordinate trainings internal and external to Enki that meet CEPA requirements for Continuing Education.
  • Develop new and/or provide requested clinical and booster trainings that meet CEPA requirements for Continuing Education.
  • Assist with other Training Department administrative functions as needed.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures as applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education And Experience Preferred

  • Masters Degree level and above in a related field.
  • Experience providing mental health services in a Department of Mental Health environment.
  • Prior Clinical Training Experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Licensed MFT, LCSW, LPCC, Ph.D., or Psy.D. preferred.
  • Ability to meet the requirements to provide clinical supervision to ASW, APCC, AMFT and Ph.D. or Psy.D. preferred.
  • Certification and/or ability to supervise and/or train in any or all of the following preferred: TF-CBT, I-CBT, MAP, PCIT.
  • Valid California driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and eligibility to drive for the Company preferred

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Ability to perform in a positive, courteous, flexible, and adaptive manner.
  • Able to exercise independent judgment, take initiative, and work proactively.
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team and independently to meet the needs of the department.
  • Must demonstrate competency in basic verbal skills, including reading comprehension, grammar, attention to detail, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Computer literate and experience with computer programs such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and an electronic medical health record.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate, both orally and in writing.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills, including, but not limited to, the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.

Physical Requirements

  • See well enough (with or without corrected vision) to read fine print, hand-written materials, and a computer screen.
  • Speak and hear well enough (with or without assistive device) to converse in person and by telephone.
  • Finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms, including ability to use a computer keyboard.
  • Have the mobility (with or without assistive device) to stand, sit, crouch, and move from one work area to another.
  • Have the strength to lift, carry or push office equipment and supplies used in normal job functions up to 20 lbs.
  • Stamina to effectively perform work activities.

Pay Range: $70,000 - $95,000/Year (Determined by experience, qualifications and licensure)
