Position: Towing and Salvage Captain

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

What You'll Do:

  • Respond to disabled vessels and provide professional on-water assistance
  • Conduct salvage operations including hard groundings, sinkings, and hurricane response
  • Operate and maintain company vessels and salvage equipment to high standards
  • Interact with boaters and clients in a professional, service-oriented manner
  • Work closely with dispatch and fellow captains as part of a coordinated response team


Requirements:

  • USCG Master’s License (Near Coastal)
  • Commercial Assistance Towing Endorsement
  • Valid TWIC card and Passport
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Strong boat handling skills in a variety of conditions
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, unpredictable marine environment


Preferred but not required:

  • Scuba certification
  • Mechanical aptitude or experience in marine systems
  • Prior salvage, commercial towing, or emergency response experience
