The Associate Technical Recruiter will report to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and will be responsible for the full life-cycle of recruiting: sourcing, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring manager and head of Talent Acquisition to determine staffing needs and budget
  • Work closely with hiring manager to draft detailed job descriptions
  • Assist in managing applicant tracking system (ATS), including coordinating job posts, creating interview groups and job-specific questions, sourcing candidates, screening resumes and employment application, and monitor candidate pipeline progression.
  • Use traditional and nontraditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates
  • Conduct first round interview (by phone or in person) and recommend next steps to hiring manager
  • Coordinate with candidate and internal team to schedule further interviews
  • Solicit feedback from hiring managers and interviewers. Perform all necessary follow-ups with remaining candidate pool
  • Administer appropriate assessments and reference checks prior to hiring
  • Partner with hiring manager and Director of Human Resources to determine details of the offer.
  • Prepare offer letter and communicate to candidate
  • Collaborate with HR team members to create and maintain a positive interviewing, on-boarding and orientation experience
  • Create staffing metrics to identify areas of improvement in the hiring process and employee engagement and retention
  • Assist HR team members with miscellaneous projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of recruiting experience in Managed Services, Colocation, Cloud and Development sourcing and hiring
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience in Information Technology or Data Center industry
  • Effective negotiating skills
  • Extensive knowledge of applicant tracking software programs - Talent Reef experience a bonus
  • Familiarity with online job hunting websites
  • Ability to travel when necessary (less than 25%)
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a go-getter, proactive and independent; ability to identify resources and resolve issues to successfully complete tasks and projects in a timely manner
  • Strong customer service skills; including a positive and friendly attitude towards both internal and external customers
