What does a successful Technical Quality Assurance - Sr. Professional II do at Fiserv?

You ensure that applications and products meet our high-quality standards before they reach customers. Your role involves designing diverse use cases and performing tests to identify and rectify defects. You should possess strong technical skills, a deep understanding of testing methodologies, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and adherence to standard Fiserv policies and procedures. Additionally, a great Quality Assurance Engineer should have the capability to automate test cases using industry-standard software testing tools like Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, and QTP.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Design, develop, and execute automated scripts using various tools and frameworks to increase the efficiency and coverage of tests.
• Conduct manual tests when automation is not feasible, focusing on exploratory testing to identify bugs that automated tests might miss.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs or issues. Work with the development team to ensure issues are resolved and perform regression testing to confirm fixes.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design specifications.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance quality and productivity.
• Analyze and prioritize risks to determine the most critical areas for Quality Assurance efforts.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, bug reports, and any other relevant information to ensure transparency and traceability.
• Leverage AI to generate and execute test cases.
  
  

What You Will Need To Have

• 5+ years of strong experience in manual and automation testing with Tosca/Selenium and API Automation.
• 2+ years of functional testing knowledge related to Middleware & ETL testing.
• 2+ years of experience preparing RTM/HLE for applications for Settlement applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field, and/or equivalent military experience.
• Current Fiserv systems experience.
  
  

What Would Be Great To Have

• Experience in the finance or payments domain.
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, Ready API.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology.
