Americas Stores Tech Talent Acquisition (ASTTA) team is looking for a Full Life Cycle Recruiter (FLC) to play a critical role in our hiring ecosystem with a primary focus on recruiting and closing for higher volume tech job families including Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE), Data Engineer (DE), Software Development Engineer (SDE), Software Development Manager (SDM), Technical Program Manager (TPM), and our specialty tech roles (ex: Science, Design, Economists).

As an ASTTA Full Life Cycle Recruiter (FLCR), you build business acumen, develop productive partnerships, and cultivate skills to influence through data. You serve as the sourcing and closing subject matter expert (SME) with a strong focus on hiring highly qualified candidates through in-depth profile calibration, leveraging actionable insights to improve candidate throughput and create long lasting impact to Amazon. You follow a candidate-centric model created by removing obstacles and ambiguity in the hiring process, with clear benchmarks of success.

Key job responsibilities

  • Recruit passive candidates through proactive market research, assess them against top talent and Amazon’s culture described in our leadership principles.
  • Manage and prioritize searches to ensure well qualified and diverse talent pipelines are provided on-time, leveraging a range of metrics and key performance indicators to deliver results.
  • Utilize industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to develop innovative sourcing methods and scalable candidate pipelines, complemented by proven strategies to consistently identify, attract, and close top-tier candidates.
  • Screen and attract top talent by assessing candidate skills, qualifications, and by guiding them throughout our hiring process, setting them up for success.
  • Use best in class candidate engagement techniques to build rapport and develop sophisticated closing strategies that seek for role fit and success in the role.
  • Collaborate cross functionally and partner with fellow Recruiters, Recruiting Coordinators, and Strategic Demand Advisors (SDA), to ensure that talent needs of customers are met.
  • Create exceptional candidate experience, efficiently organize, effectively communicate, prioritize, push back when necessary, and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, all while being customer focused and collaborative.
  • Meet key performance indicators (KPI), such as pipeline activity, conversion ratios, candidate experience, and cycle times.
  • Set accurate expectations on compensation and leveling, effectively negotiate offers and ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Actively participate in interview loop construction and interviewer calibration to ensure all interviews are well aligned with the role and job requirements.
  • Continuously invest time in expanding knowledge base as industry standards and trends change and shift.
  • Participate in project work focused on building operational efficiencies, continuous process improvement, improving recruiter productivity, etc.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of corporate and or search firm progressive technical recruiting including full life cycle recruiting experience
  • 3+ years closing candidates and negotiating offers
  • 3+ years managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience across other functional areas of talent acquisition, ideally diversity recruiting, research or analytics
  • Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $138,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
