The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water and wastewater treatment, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and teams. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director to lead our Operations and Maintenance Support Services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water and wastewater treatment, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and teams. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of our treatment facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert guidance on the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants, including troubleshooting, process optimization, and regulatory compliance.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to the upgrade, expansion, and maintenance of treatment facilities, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with team members, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of service delivery and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Innovation and Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and maintenance activities.
- High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment operations and maintenance-related position, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for water and wastewater treatment.
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
