Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Nampa, ID.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees. The role includes building relationships with managers. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate with hiring managers and HR Managers to align duties with the company's goals and values. You will play a key role in creating a positive candidate experience and driving strategic talent acquisition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities For This Position Include
- Build and maintain an external talent pipeline; maintain relationships with talent for future opportunities.
- Collaborate with hiring managers, and HR Managers and HR Director to facilitate, implement and evaluate all phases of the recruitment process.
- Create and manage comprehensive recruiting strategies, selection criteria, recruitment processes and procedures, leveraging internal and external resources to hire top talent.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates and cross-functional partners to create a best in class hiring experience for internal partners and candidates.
- Lead the full-cycle recruiting process from intake to offer acceptance including job postings, sourcing, pre-screen, interview scheduling and preparing and extending employment offers.
- Lead and/or support projects that focus on improving candidate experience, recommending processes and tools that drive a successful recruitment model.
- Manage relationships with Universities and Colleges and lead all on-campus initiatives including but not limited to recruitment initiatives, career fairs, marketing events, social events, etc.
- Organize and attend local job fairs to attract talent.
- Partner with HR Managers and hiring Managers to draft detailed job descriptions and identify hiring criteria.
- Source prospects, both passive and aggressive, utilizing recruiting tools (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Support HR Director with projects concerning international mobility, including relocation coordination and visa processing.
- Support HR team in the execution of site-wide engagement activities, including having a strong presence within the plants.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill / candidate satisfaction) to inform continuous improvement.
- Travel may be required seldom.
- Extended hours may be necessary depending on business needs.
- To fulfill these responsibilities, tools such as a computer, phone or, and / or allowance(s) may be provided.

Qualified Applicants Will Contribute The Following
Education
- High school diploma is required. An associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of agency or in-house talent acquisition experience is required.
- Talent Acquisition experience in a manufacturing company is preferred.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions and working with cross-functional teams is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information.
