Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Acquisition, the primary responsibility of the Talent Acquisition Specialist will include sourcing, contacting, screening, and assisting in the placement of qualified candidates. Proactive to seek the right candidate to fit the role, company goals, and culture. Work independently and as part of a cross departmental team with other human resource professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with human resource business partners to develop position profile and to understand overall needs and requirements of the role, i.e. the job description, salary, timing, and expectation of the hiring manager.
  • Full-cycle recruiting to include posting open positions on identified platforms, sourcing, contacting candidates, interviewing, follow-up with candidates, and managing pipeline for a defined division, region, and people leaders.
  • Support and assist, when necessary, the recruitment of other roles across the enterprise.
  • Present candidates to hiring manager and respective human resource business partner.
  • Identify key internal and external stakeholders and maintain relationship and partnerships to determine workforce needs and establish pipelines to qualified candidates.
  • Formulate recruiting strategies based on open positions, industry and recruiting trends for review and approval.
  • Utilize direct sourcing, internet recruiting, networking, employee referrals, and creative sourcing to identify qualified candidates.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of the marketplace, competitor intelligence, industry trends and recruitment practices.
  • Manage full cycle recruitment process and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) including sourcing, pre-screening, assessment, background check, offer letter, etc.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, General Education Certification Degree (G.E.D.),vocational certifications, and/or a related degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Excellent communication and customer service delivery skills.
  • Microsoft Suite
  • ICSM and ORACLE systems, a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Human Resource fundamentals, talent acquisition methods and practices to include local, state and federal laws/regulations regarding candidate selection and onboarding.
  • Basic knowledge of sourcing candidates and conducting effective interviews.
  • Basic knowledge of employer branding and use of social media as a recruitment branding tool.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive interpersonal skills, team collaboration, creative-problem solving, conflict resolution, group planning and decision-making.
  • Basic skill and ability to effectively present information and convey knowledge.
  • Experience working in Applicant Tracking Systems and human capital management systems.
