Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Operations, Staffing Program Partner. The Staffing Program Partner plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the organization’s internal staffing programs, focusing on managing the locum staffing program and third-party agency partnerships. This position collaborates closely with dental practice operations leaders, human resources, credentialings, hiring mangers, talent acquisition team, and other stakeholders to address staffing needs and ensure compliance with industry regulations. The Staffing Program Partner oversees the candidate experience from recruitment to onboarding, manages relationships with external agencies, and implements staffing strategies that align with the business’s goals. Strong organizational, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
Strategic Recruitment Partnership:
- Collaborate with internal hiring managers and dental practice leaders to identify staffing needs and build recruitment strategies tailored to dental industry demands.
- Act as a strategic partner to both internal teams and third-party staffing agencies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified locum dental professionals.
- Manage relationships with third-party staffing agencies to ensure high-quality, timely placements of temporary, contract, and locum dental staff.
- Negotiate terms and contracts with agencies, ensuring service-level agreements (SLAs) are met and optimizing agency performance.
- Regularly review and assess agency effectiveness, providing feedback and recommendations to improve service and candidate quality.
- Oversee the candidate journey, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both direct and agency-referred candidates.
- Provide coaching to third-party agencies to ensure they effectively represent the company’s brand and culture to prospective candidates.
- Facilitate regular communication with candidates.
- Design and implement staffing programs tailored to the needs of dental practices for temporary / locum staffing solutions.
- Collaborate with field operations to ensure staffing programs meet the evolving needs of the organization and respond to industry-specific challenges.
- Partner with the talent acquisition team to develop talent attraction strategies for high-demand roles within the dental industry, including specialists, dental hygienists, and support staff.
- Use data-driven insights to track the effectiveness of staffing efforts, analyzing key metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and agency performance.
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership, outlining staffing trends, program success rates, and areas for improvement.
- Monitor staffing program budgets and recommend cost-effective solutions to reduce dependency on external hiring.
- Ensure that all staffing activities adhere to dental industry regulations, including verifying professional licenses, certifications, and credentials for dental professionals.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and ethical recruitment standards for both direct hires and third-party agency placements.
- Educate third-party agencies and internal hiring teams on compliance with industry-specific regulations.
- Continuously evaluate the internal staffing (locum) program, to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Lead initiatives to improve staffing workflow, technology use, and communication between dental practices, third-party agencies, and talent acquisition teams.
- Implement best practices for working with third-party staffing agencies, ensuring high service quality and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with talent acquisition and dental practice managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for all new hires, including those placed by third-party agencies.
- Facilitate proper integration of temporary and locum dental staff into practices, ensuring all necessary training, compliance checks, and documentation are completed.
- Support the development of locum mobility programs to reducing turnover and external recruitment costs.
- Manage shift scheduling and process for locum mobility programs.
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in staffing, recruitment, or HR, preferably in the dental industry or healthcare setting.
- Experience working with third-party staffing agencies is essential.
- A passion for providing a superior new hire experience.
- Ability to organize and prioritize competing priorities.
- Strong knowledge of staffing needs in the dental industry, including experience with temporary staffing and locum placements.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills for working with internal teams and external agencies.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and data analysis tools.
- Ability to drive process improvements, manage multiple stakeholders, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
