Committed to quality and innovation, we are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our sheet metal manufacturing processes.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at a leading metal fabrication facility. This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the flow of raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the supply chain, from procurement through production to delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial or manufacturing environments and a strong understanding of materials planning, vendor management, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, negotiating terms, pricing, and lead times for raw materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, fasteners, coatings).
• Monitor inventory levels and execute replenishment strategies to minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
• Collaborate with production planning, purchasing, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure efficient workflow and alignment with customer demand.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and supplier performance using ERP/MRP systems.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement across the supply chain.
• Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure proper handling of inbound and outbound materials.
• Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance metrics and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines related to materials handling and logistics.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement—preferably in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing, just-in-time (JIT), and inventory control techniques.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with metals, raw materials sourcing, or heavy industrial components.
• APICS/CPIM or similar supply chain certification.
• Familiarity with CAD drawings and basic understanding of fabrication processes (welding, machining, etc.).
