Key Responsibilities

  • General Field Operations
    • Manage day-to-day construction activities and jobsite logistics
    • Track productivity, quality, subcontractor performance, and schedule adherence
    • Lead weekly field meetings and post daily reports in Procore
    • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
    • Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Scheduling & Documentation
    • Maintain and update overall project schedule and 2-3 week look-aheads
    • Document delays, changes, and scheduling impacts
    • Communicate with leadership on project updates and field conditions
  • Safety Management
    • Enforce jobsite safety policies and lead weekly Toolbox Talks
    • Train staff on tool and equipment safety
    • Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and internal protocols
  • Pre-Construction & Start-Up
    • Review all project documents and prepare field hand-off packages
    • Schedule and lead pre-construction meetings with trades and stakeholders
    • Coordinate utilities, site preparation, fencing, and BMPs
    • Schedule layout and initial site work including concrete mockups and framing readiness
  • Change Management
    • Support Project Manager with change events and subcontractor pricing
    • Update project schedules to reflect change orders
    • Ensure change-related work is completed accurately and efficiently
  • Close-Out
    • Schedule and manage all final agency and building inspections
    • Oversee final punch lists (internal and client-driven)
    • Upload photo documentation of completed work to the digital folder
    • Lead owner walk-throughs and client turnover procedures
    • Attend final project close-out meetings
Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of residential construction experience, including supervisory roles
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and safety protocols
  • Proficient with Procore, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective leadership and communication skills for managing subcontractors and coordinating with clients and internal teams
  • Ability to problem-solve, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple sites or schedules
  • Physical ability to work in active construction environments in various weather conditions
  • OSHA safety training and certifications like PMP are a plus
