Position Summary
The Senior Director, Co-Manufacturing, is a key executive leader responsible for shaping and executing OSI’s long-term vision for co-manufactured products. This role drives sustainable business growth and profitability by developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives, leading innovation pipelines, and building deep partnerships with major CPG and manufacturing accounts.
This leader will serve as the primary architect of the co-manufaturing business strategy, translating market insights and consumer trends into actionable business plans that expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and optimize operational efficiency across the enterprise.

This leader will serve as the primary architect of the co-manufaturing business strategy, translating market insights and consumer trends into actionable business plans that expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and optimize operational efficiency across the enterprise.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Job supervises a team, has authority to hire and performance-manage a team.
- Job leads/supervises/manages 1-5 employees.
- Define and execute the multi-year strategic roadmap for OSI’s co-manufacturing portfolio, driving profitable growth, innovation, and competitive differentiation.
- Oversee P&L performance for the co-manufacturing channel, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals and margin expectations.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead strategic partnerships to expand OSI’s presence in emerging and high-growth segments.
- Lead strategic account management with top-tier customers, negotiating long-term agreements and fostering trusted executive-level relationships.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to develop and execute dynamic go-to-market and pricing strategies that optimize volume and profitability.
- Provide strategic oversight of sales forecasts, inventory planning, and demand management to ensure operational alignment and business continuity.
- Champion the co-manufacturing innovation agenda by collaborating with Culinary, R&D, and Operations to bring consumer-driven products to market.
- Translate customer insights and category trends into product innovation opportunities that strengthen OSI’s competitive positioning.
- Direct portfolio lifecycle management to maximize long-term value, including new launches, optimizations, and rationalizations.
- Partner with Operations to identify and implement cost optimization and capacity enhancement initiatives that improve profitability and efficiency.
- Provide thought leadership to internal stakeholders on industry trends, customer expectations, and strategic opportunities for growth.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing cross-functional team culture, fostering collaboration, accountability, and results.
- Leverage analytics and market intelligence to guide strategy, assess business performance, and recommend course corrections.
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for senior leadership, outlining performance metrics, growth opportunities, and key initiatives.
- Represent OSI at trade shows, customer summits, and industry forums, serving as a key ambassador for the company’s private label capabilities and innovation leadership.
- This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 10+ years of experience in related field is preferred.of progressive experience in private label, CPG, or food manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or strategic management role.
- Deep understanding of consumer and retail dynamics within the CPG and private label landscape.
- Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level customer relationships that drive strategic growth.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, forecasting, and capital investment strategies.
- Expert in strategic planning, market development, and innovation commercialization.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- Adept at leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority.
- High adaptability, critical thinking, and problem-solving orientation in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
- BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.
- Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.
- Work conditions are typical of an office & plant environment.
- This role requires 30% domestic travel.
- Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds
- Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
- Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Less than 4 hours.
