As a Data Analyst you will be responsible for operational reporting of RCM data for Optum’s health system partners.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop BI/Reporting solutions to meet stakeholder needs and drive business value
- Consult with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather requirements, create relevant content, and proactively develop BI/Reporting solutions
- Collaborate with lines of business to shape business needs into analytics solutions and communicate results
- Access and review data related to ambulatory RCM practices, ensuring all data elements are correct for accurate reporting
- Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems, solving complex issues and conducting analyses
- Create user-friendly documentation, including user guides, to enable stakeholders to effectively use delivered solutions
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring insights are easily understood and actionable
- Provide training and act as a point of contact for stakeholders regarding delivered solutions
- Act as a resource for others with less experience
- Be comfortable working independently while being part of a close-knit team
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
- 2+ years of experience supporting healthcare revenue cycle analytics
- Proven advanced skills utilizing Excel (i.e.: Complicated formulas, PowerQuery, etc.)
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau, Qlik, Looker etc.
- Experience with Business Objects, SQL
- Experience in communicating and articulating trends, values, and metrics based on data and underlying root cause
- Demonstrated familiarity with working in an Agile Scrum environment
- Ability to be a critical thinker
- Proven ability to work with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
