The Space Manag*r (SM) is a key member of the Stretch*d team and as such, ensures oversight of a premier client experience. The Space Manag*r supervises the service providers and the front desk team, takes initiative, delegates work as needed, provides feedback to the team, follows up on outstanding issues and is an overall leader for Space. The Space Manag*r is proactive in the financial performance of the space through lead generation, first time visit follow up and membership growth. Space Manag*rs will be trained in both the Stretch*d method and Face*ssage technique to ensure a deep understanding of the services provided at Stretch*d. Manag*rs are expected to work 1 shift per week in a service provider role. Under the supervision and direction of the Franchise Owner and Regional Manager (if applicable) the SM is responsible for managing the Stretch*d Space team and all general space operations.

***Training will start July 21st. New Stretch*d Space opening early August***

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all sales and daily operations in the space
  • Manage front desk protocols and answer all customer related questions (in person, by phone, and via email and text)
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the space is maintained at all times to provide a premium experience
  • Monitor client accounts and process requests for appointments, freezes, cancellations, declined charges and chargebacks
  • Recruits Advis*rs and facilitates training for front desk staff
  • Creates monthly Advis*r schedule
  • Resolve staff scheduling conflicts as they occur, then approve staffing substitutions
  • Review time clocks for Advis*rs to ensure accuracy for payroll
  • Ensure all Advis*rs, Stretch*rs and Sculpt*rs adhere to protocols and operations standards to ensure a premier experience
  • Maintain retail merchandising and execute monthly inventory
  • Organize community outreach and grass roots events
  • Maintain space supply inventory and place orders as needed
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years Leadership experience
  • Must possess superior customer service skills
  • Must be highly organized and have excellent interpersonal skills and a service-oriented outlook
  • Extensive Point of Sale (POS) software experience (Zenoti preferred)
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Must have a strong ability to communicate clearly with team members, clients, and ownership
  • Must be able to move and/or lift heavy items, up to 50 lbs

Requirements:

Work Requirements

  • Minimum of 40 hours/week including 34 hours front desk hours and 6 service provider hours
  • Must work at least one weekend day
  • Ability to work flexible hours if needed, i.e. early morning/late night/weekends
  • Some holidays (open nearly year-round)

Work Environment

This job operates in a client-facing service environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to sit at a presentation station with a client for prolonged periods; stand, walk, bend, twist, squat, use hand and finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform weight bearing stretching with our customers.

Position Type:

This is a full-time position. Space Manag*rs are expected to be in the spaces 40 hours per week, with shifts that include weekends and some evenings.
