Job Overview

Xanadu Builders is seeking a driven, experienced, and versatile Site Superintendent to oversee a variety of out-of-state commercial and residential construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader to manage jobs from cradle to grave, representing our company on-site and coordinating with clients and subcontractors. You'll travel nationwide to project locations, staying for up to two months at a time to ensure the successful execution of construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site leader and primary point of contact for contractors and clients
• Manage day-to-day operations of construction projects nationwide
• Ensure site safety, schedule adherence, and quality control
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Perform light carpentry work and assist with other trades as needed
• Document progress and communicate daily job status to project managers
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors
• Address and resolve issues on-site in a timely manner
• Maintain compliance with project specifications and building codes
• Represent Xanadu Builders with professionalism at all times
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction field experience (commercial and residential)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively
• Carpentry skills required; plumbing and electrical knowledge a plus
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel 100% of the time and remain on location for up to 2 months
• Schedule flexibility, including weekends
• Must be a non-smoker

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, with weekend availability as project needs arise.
