Shift Lead

The Shift Lead works directly with the managers to ensure the daily tasks are completed and team members are fully prepared for their shifts. A shift lead is the acting manager when a manager is not present. Shift leads are responsible for having absolute knowledge of the menu and assist Team Members throughout their shift. They are encouraged to help the managers with all small tasks, such as helping with urgent ordering, assisting with inventory, and maintaining Toastique’s quality and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and communicate effectively with team members
• Communicate with Manager to ensure smooth daily operation
• Enforce and uphold Toastique policies and standards
• Ensure the team provides outstanding customer service
• Ensure each station is prepared for operations
• Assist with solving customer issues
• Ensure team members are following policies and procedures
• Assist with training new employees
• Assist Manager with fulfilling catering orders
  
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of restaurant experience or 6 months working full time at Toastique
• Completion of all training programs
• ServSafe-Manager Certification
