This is a great opportunity as Senior Tax Accountant will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, to build and enhance direct and indirect tax controls and processes for the enterprise. This role is a great development role for candidates who aspire to lead tax organizations. The role will focus on all major taxes including income & corporate taxes, transactional taxes (sales & use tax, VAT), and property taxes, and will provide broad-based tax and leadership exposure and experience.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare income tax calculations and reconciliations to support provision, estimate, extension, and return filings processes
• Support transfer pricing evaluation and documentation processes, ensuring compliance with US, OECD and local country regulations
• Prepare cash tax forecasts and collaborate with other finance teams to facilitate and track tax payments
• Work cross-functionally to analyze cross-border transactions and to support transfer pricing studies and intercompany agreements
• Enhance sales & use tax controls and processes, including exemption certificate collection and distribution
• Support deployment and management of enterprise tax engine
• Manage property tax return processes and collaborate with business sites to manage liability
• Assist with various tax audits, M&A tax due diligence, and other tax matters by providing research and analysis and responses to document requests as needed
• Drive priority tax improvement initiatives
• Build relationships internally to ensure that tax considerations are addressed
  
  

Travel: Up to 5% as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field
• 4+ years of related work experience in public accounting and/or a multinational corporate tax department
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong desire to learn, self-starter
• Understanding of ASC 740 and ASC 450
• Ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally
• Strong Excel and analytical skills, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills; problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• CPA license
• Cross border and/or transfer pricing experience a plus
