Exciting opportunity to join the Outsourced Manufacturing Team as Senior Manufacturing Integration Engineer - Plastics. This position requires a strong understanding of Plastic Injection Molding. The right candidate will have vast experience in Tool design and Injection Molding Process development and validation. In this role you will work alongside our external partners to ensure that the assets installed are functioning at a high level of quality and efficiency. This role is also required to have experience in Design for Manufacturability and Design for Assembly (DFM/DFA) and provide that guidance internally to our design teams to ensure that we are bringing new products to market successfully.

Skills And Contributions
- Applies fundamental technical skills within area of expertise.
- Expertise has leading recognition within the company; actively contributes to broader functional process.
- Well versed in injection molding discipline (part design, materials, mold design/construction, processing, and presses).
- Experienced design for manufacture/assembly.
- Understanding process scale requirements from R&D through commercial supply.
- Familiar with key measurement technologies utilized in injection molding.
- Able to mediate between the needs of the product design and the capability of manufacturing.
- History of successful scaleup, qualification, and management of tooling and molding suppliers in a regulated market.
- Develops multiple aspects of a project plan related to a specific aspect of the project.
- Identifies more critical activities in the project plan and adjusts priorities when appropriate.
- Possesses an advanced understanding of the project lifecycle and is able to apply knowledge when leading a team through a project.
- Manages and monitors progress of several project teams that expand upon business units.
- Demonstrates broad knowledge of information sources that can be used to assess problems and make decisions.
- Invests time in planning, discovery, and reflection to drive better decisions.
- Able to solve complex problems.
- Effectively leverages hard data as inputs to making decisions.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's capacities and constraints.
- Takes a planful approach to influencing others by identifying stakeholder interests, common goals, and potential barriers.
- Facilitates connections between members of their network for the benefit of the organization or others.
- Demonstrates the ability to garner support for ideas and action.
- B.S. degree in an engineering field or equivalent applicable industry experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the development of manufacturing processes or sustainable manufacturing in the Drug and Medical Device industry.
- Injection molding experience needed
- Effective use of problem-solving tools to determine root cause and solution implementation.
- Ability to use CAD to determine if tooling, equipment, and part designs meet requirements.
- Understanding of LEAN principles and process capability; Green Belt or Black Belt trained preferred.
- Clear and concise verbal, written and presentation communication.
- Demonstrated ability to create technical documents.
- Domestic and International Travel to Kindeva and Outsourced Manufacturing facilities may be required to support business needs.
