Summary Of Job Description
The Sr. HRIS Analyst (Workday HCM) is responsible for implementation of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system, ensuring effective system administration, data integrity and process efficiency. This position analyzes, administers, and troubleshoots the Workday HCM system, working with HR associates and managers to identify appropriate enhancements, modifications, and corrections for process improvement. The Sr. HRIS Analyst collaborates with IS and system vendors on implementing all changes and enhancements. This position conducts analysis and research to help determine the efficacy of the company’s HR technology and identify potential new technology.

This position analyzes, administers, and troubleshoots the Workday HCM system, working with HR associates and managers to identify appropriate enhancements, modifications, and corrections for process improvement. The Sr. HRIS Analyst collaborates with IS and system vendors on implementing all changes and enhancements. This position conducts analysis and research to help determine the efficacy of the company’s HR technology and identify potential new technology.
Job Responsibilities
- Configures and customizes Workday HCM modules (Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Performance Management, and reporting) to meet business requirements. Researches and resolves HRIS issues related to the Workday HCM enterprise system and specialized technologies. Troubleshoots unexpected results or process flaws and recommends solutions. Ensures data integrity and tests all system changes.
- Collaborates and consults with HR functional leads to provide recommendations on changes to the technology and then oversees/conducts reconfiguration, testing, and training, adhering to project timelines. Works with HR functions to identify modifications to HR systems or alternative methods to improve and properly support HR processes and enhance their efficiency. Works with IS and/or system vendors to implement changes. Tests fixes/new features, including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance.
- Develops standard and ad hoc reports from the HCM system, ensuring data integrity and meeting regulatory and decision-making requirements. Maintains reports and add-ins to help automate manual processes. Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests.
- Supports HR Technology Manager on complex, cross-functional projects for enhancing HR processes and helps identify technology to support HR process improvement. Provides end-user training and support to ensure effective adoption of Workday HCM functionalities.
- Manages and analyzes new Workday releases and interacts directly with technology vendors (consultants) to take advantage of the features offered in the technology applications. Involves IS as needed in expanding and enhancing each HR technology application.
- Conducts analysis and research to assist in determining the efficacy of the company’s HR technology and identifying potential new technology. Develops metrics to identify system deficiencies and researches potential solutions.

- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, HR, IS, or related field
- Minimum five years of experience in implementing and configuring Workday HCM modules.
- Workday HCM certification preferred
- Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
- Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
- Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
