A reputable real estate company is seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to oversee financial planning and analysis across 120 plus unique budgets for their individually operated mobile home parks. This role is essential in driving financial stability, strategic decision-making, and efficiency through budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of financial operations, proactively identifying trends, investigating variances, and implementing solutions without needing direction. As the team grows, this individual will also supervise employees while continuously improving financial processes and presenting findings to leadership with confidence and clarity.

Salary Range: $105,000 - $120,000 / year DOE

Senior FP&A Manager Responsibilities

• Manage 120+ unique budgets for mobile home parks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with input from the accounting team
• Conduct variance analysis and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial reports to assess accuracy and completeness
• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, comparing actual vs. projected costs
• Identify financial trends and discrepancies without needing direction
• Supervise and mentor team members as the department grows
• Provide leadership with data-driven insights to support decision-making
• Work closely with the CFO and Controller on financial strategy and reporting
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department
  
  

Senior FP&A Manager Requirements

• 3+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to build custom financial models
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple accounts
• Knowledge of A/P, A/R, month-end journal entries, and bank reconciliations
• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Highly organized with superb attention to detail
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills—able to identify issues before they arise
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus
• Experience with RentManager is preferred
