Summary
MaineHealth is currently seeking a Senior Director of Operations for Post Acute Careto provide leadership and management of post-acute entities ensuring that each facility meets or exceeds operational goals while also ensuring all facilities comply with state, national, and organizational regulations and policies.The Senior Director Operations will spearhead strategic planning to ensure seamless transitions and high-quality patient care across post-acute settings. Additionally, they will oversee financial management to optimize resource utilization and monitor performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of progressive management and healthcare operations experience. Direct experience with electronic medical record and various operational applications, in post-acute care setting preferred. Licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Maine is required.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Bachelor’sdegree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- License/Certifications:Currently licensed as a nursing home administrator in the state of Maine preferred
- Experience:Five years of progressive management and healthcare operations experience required. Direct experience in post-acute care settings preferred. Knowledge of healthcare regulations (including CMS), Joint Commission standards and state-specific healthcare laws.
- Additional Skills/Requirements Required:Proficient in data analytics, financial reporting and strategic planning.
- Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:Experience with electronic medical record and various operational applications, including PointClickCare, Epic, Tableau and Power BI preferred.
