Why We Need You

As demand for our animal feed products continues to rise, we're looking for Senior Co-Products Trader who's ready to jump in, make connections, and find smart ways to get our co-products into the hands of the right customers. This role is key to keeping things running smoothly across multiple facilities and opening up new opportunities in the animal feed space. If you're someone who thrives on problem-solving and building lasting relationships, we want you on our team.

Who You'll Be Working With

You'll work alongside a tight-knit, passionate group within our Procurement team and report directly to the Co-Products Manager. Expect to collaborate with people across the company-logistics experts, plant teams, and customer service reps-plus build solid relationships with farmers, elevators, and feed buyers. You'll also connect with new and existing customers to help grow our footprint in the animal feed and co-products market.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential feed customers
• Work with plant teams to manage daily co-product inventories
• Partner with logistics to ensure timely, accurate deliveries
• Collaborate with farmers and elevators on price discovery and market insights
• Develop and expand markets for oat-based feed materials
• Help create and manage written feed programs, specs, and labels
• Ensure compliance with feed safety and regulatory requirements
• Assist with supplier vetting, including risk assessments and documentation
  
  
  

What You'll Bring

• A degree in Animal Science or a related field
• 5–10 years of experience in the animal feed or animal nutrition industry
• Experience with agricultural commodity or co-product trading preferred
• Strong communication skills-you're comfortable talking to anyone, anywhere
• A team mindset with a knack for building trust and partnerships
• Attention to detail and an ability to stay organized in a fast-moving environment
• A proactive, solutions-focused attitude-you like to figure things out
• An understanding of feed safety, compliance, and regulatory basics
• A willingness to travel approx. one week per quarter and represent the company professionally
