Responsibilities
Assist in the development, coordination and implementation of trainings for DSp's and other DD Division staff as required by the agency as well as OPWDD and requested by programs. Department productivity expectations, as established by senior management, must be met by the Training Specialist. Prepare and conduct required and suggested trainings for DD Division staff.

Qualifications
Must be a NYF DD service recipient
Knowledge Of Child Welfare And Developmental Disabilities Preferred.
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques
Strong written communication and writing skills
Obtaining training certifications as identified based on agency needs.
Education Required
High School / G.E.D.

Specifically
- Participate in orientation training of new DD Division staff
- Arrange for and help set up training space and materials as needed for trainings
- Suggest and facilitate trainings offered by outside vendors
- Participate in team meetings
- Other duties as assigned
