Cartesian Therapeutics is reimagining Cell Therapies with promising breakthroughs to help patients with autoimmune diseases. We are looking for a Scientist that will be responsible for process development and analytical testing. The Scientist, Process Development will have the unique opportunity to work on process and analytical development simultaneously as well as work with a new cutting-edge modality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently design, develop, and execute process development experiments (CAR-T cell therapy), and support analytical testing.
  • Supports initiatives for new technology development and continuous improvement projects.
  • Independently author technical reports of studies, protocols, SOP and risk assessments to enable technology transfer, manufacturing and IND activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Cell Biology or related degree with 0-3 years of industry experience or Masters with 3-5 years of industry experience.
  • Experience in analytical development, assay qualification and transfer
  • Experience with flow cytometry, cell-based assays.
  • Excellent team player with good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of statistics.
  • Experience with analytical assays as applied to CAR-T therapies.

Salary Notice

At Cartesian Therapeutics, we are committed to transparency and equity in our compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $129,000 per year. Please note that the final salary will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to years of experience, industry experience, education, and specific skills relevant to the role. We believe in rewarding our team members fairly and encourage open discussions about compensation throughout the hiring process.
