Providing essential healthcare support within a K-12 educational environment, this position seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to deliver day-to-day nursing care and assist with general health room duties. Based in Riverview, FL, the role operates on an academic school-year contract, supporting the well-being of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer basic nursing care and first aid to students and staff in the school health room
- Monitor and manage routine health issues, ensuring compliance with school health policies
- Collaborate with school staff to address student health concerns and communicate with parents as appropriate
- Flexibly float to different locations within the district as needed to provide nursing coverage
- Maintain accurate health records and complete all required documentation, including local healthcare prints
- Current LPN/LVN license or ASN degree with valid nursing license
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably with pediatric or school-based healthcare exposure
- Strong organizational and communication skills suitable for school settings
- Availability to work onsite during school hours, typically 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., following district work schedules (not exceeding 7.5 hours per day)
- Ability to complete required fingerprint background checks and licensing renewals as mandated by district and state standards
