Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible to lead our team in sales effectiveness and manage functions essential to sales productivity. These functions include planning, coaching and developing your team, sales process optimization, process implementation, and cross functional leadership within all our verticals. This leadership position focuses on leading, training and motivating a prospecting /hunter ProSites sales team. The team sells a complete portfolio of online marketing solutions including websites, Social Media, SEO, PPC and Chat. The Sales Manager will conduct individual coaching, team trainings and manage the sales team’s pipeline ultimately driving sales and exceeding quotas. The Sales Manager will lead by example and provide a professional, exciting and challenging environment for their team. The Sales Manager will foster close working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient operation of both your team as wells our entire Go-to-Market team. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Hire, coach and develop sales staff on being a trusted advisor and high performing sales rep.
  • Motivate and advise sales reps to improve their performance and achieve their sales goals in a fun and collaborative team environment.
  • Plan/prepare for sales success through goal setting, data analysis, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
  • Work closely with other departments such as Marketing, Revenue Operations, Sales Training, and Product to ensure sales goals are met.
  • Fully understand and coach to our products, sales process, systems and industry specifics.
  • Coach, connect and engage with sales team daily via video, phone and chat.
  • Conduct weekly actionable one on one’s with sales team members.
  • Successfully lead, develop and communicate a common strategic direction; organize and motivate sales team to help meet their objectives and provide high-quality service.
  • Support Sales Compensation implementation and administration.
  • Be curious and speak up. Drive to uncover opportunity and improve process.
  • Increase effectiveness of Salesforce data management, forecasting, quotes, opportunities, contracts, dashboards, reporting, etc.
  • Identify, document, manage and execute best-practices for all sales related processes.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is expected as this is a full-time position.
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager or executives.

Key Skills, Knowledge And Qualifications

  • Proven track record of being a top producing sales manager in SaaS inside sales environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, positive, attitude, professional appearance, understanding of sales process, industry knowledge, well organized, dependable, and excellent listening skills with the ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Strong experience in leading a team via pipeline management combined with a focus on metrices/activity. The balance here is critical.
  • Expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand behavior of sales, partners and customers.
  • Ability to provide clear and comprehensive written documentation using MS Office.
  • Inbound and Outbound telesales experience, including and a proven track record of achieving set KPIs, utilizing proven Lead Generation and Closing processes and tools including Inbound Marketing, Sales Pipeline management, CRM and content marketing.
  • High level of comfort with internet technology.
  • Motivated by the opportunity to be part of a fast moving, entrepreneurial team.
  • Applications and CRM System (e.g. salesforce.com, MS Dynamics, Netsuite).
  • 2+ years of previous experience successfully managing an inside sales team in a fast-paced technology sales environment (Required).
  • 3-5 years of experience successfully selling with a sales cycle of less than 90 days (Required)
  • Solution focused selling/leadership experience (Required).
  • BA/BS or equivalent (Required).

Physical/Mental Requirements For The Job

  • Prolonged periods of sedentary movement.
  • May be requested to work overtime and weekends if deemed necessary.
  • Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
  • Certain management positions might be required to occasional travel.
