Job Overview

Zimmerman's Roofing is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Roofing Service Technician to join our Field Operations team. This hands-on role involves diagnosing and resolving residential roofing and exterior issues while delivering top-tier service to homeowners. You'll work independently across our 5-county service area, providing repairs, maintenance, and solutions for roofs, siding, windows, and doors. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair roofing and exterior home systems.
• Sell, install, and maintain roof and siding repairs or replacements.
• Perform service work at residential job sites within a 5-county area.
• Clearly communicate service needs and solutions to homeowners.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and customer interactions.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test (compliance with all applicable laws).
• Strong problem-solving skills and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, climb, work at heights, in tight spaces, and work in all elements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer literacy for documentation and communication.
• Use of Construction software for time tracking, sales, notes, and photos
• Preferred:
• 2+ years of Residential Remodeling and Construction experience
• Prior installation and repair experience in residential exterior systems
• Including, but not limited to, Roofing, Windows, Doors, Gutters, and Siding
