Most of our patients face feeding challenges and are either G or J-tube feeding dependent. Others may have tracheostomies requiring ventilator support, seizure disorders, ostomy appliances, wound management needs, or diabetic maintenance.

  • Compassion and Empathy: We seek nurses who are compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to providing high-quality care. Our focus extends beyond medical needs to the social-emotional well-being of our patients. Compassionate team members create a positive impact on the lives of our patients and families.
  • Adaptability: Our cases vary significantly. Nurses who can adapt to different patient needs, environments, and challenges thrive in our team. Our cases cover various conditions, including feeding challenges, tracheostomies, ventilator support, seizure disorders, and more.
  • Team Player: Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, families, and interdisciplinary teams is fundamental. Collaboration is essential and crucial for success; Team players contribute to better patient outcomes.

  • Professionalism: Punctuality, reliability, and maintaining ethical standards are highly valued.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Respect for diverse backgrounds and cultural competence is vital. Our patients come from various communities, and understanding their unique needs is essential.
  • Social-Emotional Well-Being Awareness: While managing complex medical care at home is our primary focus, we equally prioritize our patients’ social-emotional health. We understand the importance of maintaining family roles and preventing loved ones from becoming the primary “nurse.”
