The 12-bed ICU specializes in pulmonary care, focusing on sepsis, ARDS, and pulmonary hypertension, and provides CRRT and targeted temperature management.
- The RN Team Lead acts as a leader, clinical resource, role model, coach, and facilitator, responsible for guiding staff and department operations to ensure positive, efficient, and fiscally responsible work environment.
- Key duties include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for optimal outcomes; mobilizing the care team using leadership principles; supporting staff competence and performance development; preparing work schedules; conducting team meetings to ensure effective communication; and promoting a positive work environment.
- Requirements include a nursing degree from an accredited college; at least one year of clinical and leadership experience; current RN licensure in Virginia or eligibility; CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications; computer skills for electronic records; and completion of behavioral health de-escalation training within four months of hire.
