RN, Registered Nurse - Oncology

A competent Nurse in a similar clinical setting practices independently, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care.

• Provides routine and complex nursing care, focusing on long-term goals and contingency management.
• Delegates tasks appropriately to care providers to manage clinical situations effectively.
• Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—to deliver patient care.
• Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, tailoring care to their level of understanding.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assesses learning needs and educates patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources.
  
  

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred), at least 1 year of related experience, BLS certification, and an RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.

The schedule is from 7PM to 7AM, full-time.
