The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingency plans.
- Demonstrates competence in nursing processes, assessments, diagnoses, interventions, and evaluations.
- Addresses the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors effects, and documents care.
- Assesses learning needs and educates patients, families, and caregivers.
- Meets core competency expectations related to self-leadership and team leadership.
- Requires a BSN (preferred), at least 1 year of relevant experience (preferred), and RN licensure.
- Certifications such as BLS, NRP, and STABLE are required within specified timeframes.
- Newly hired RNs attend orientation and complete competency validations.
- Work schedule is 7 PM - 7 AM, full-time.
