Job Description
- General medical and surgical units
- Manage diverse population with varying diagnoses, including chronic illnesses and acute conditions
- Perform various procedures, such as colonoscopies, thoracents, bronchoscopies, and minor surgeries
- Provide general medical surgical nursing care, including assessments, care planning, and inter-professional communication
- Utilize electronic record system, IV pumps, wound vacs, heat/cooling pads, feeding pumps, and feeding tubes
- Manage heparin and insulin drips, IV therapy, and telemetry monitoring
- Remote/on-site/hybrid work arrangement
- Job duration: 13.0 weeks
- Shift requirements: 12-hour shifts, 3 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
- Patient ratios: 1:5-6
- IN license (or compact as of 7/1/20)
- BLS through AHA
- ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc. (licensures and certifications/registrations required)
