Seeking a detail-oriented RN Appeals Coordinator with strong understanding of reimbursement processes and advocacy skills.
- Manage Medicare and Insurance appeals, denials, and refund requests across multiple senior care communities.
- Coordinate documentation, communicate with billing and reimbursement teams, and conduct site reviews to ensure timely responses.
- Provide feedback to staff on improvement areas and record all appeals activities and trends.
- Qualifications include RN Associate Degree, knowledge of MDS and RUGs, with 2+ years of long-term clinical experience; RAC certification is a plus.
- This role requires organizational, documentation, and communication skills to support accurate and efficient resolution of claims.
