We are in the process of transforming our analytics capabilities and are looking for a Retail Operations Analyst to join us on that journey. We are in the process of transforming our analytics capabilities and are looking for a Retail Operations Analyst to join us on that journey. If you appreciate the challenge of analyzing data, building new capabilities, developing strategy, and driving growth, this will be a great fit.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing key findings and insights, present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Responsible for the development of standard dashboards, templates, scorecards, and benchmarking capability across teams and territories
- Develop forecasting models to predict future trends, demand, and outcomes. Utilize historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors to improve accuracy.
- Collect data from various sources, including internal databases and external sources to develop reporting, insights, and recommendations.
- Cleanse, validate, and prepare raw data while ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Identify and analyze trends and factors that influence behavior and value.
- Provide timely and insightful reporting and interpretation of KPIs.
- Proactively develop tools and make recommendations that will maximize traffic, sales, profit, and efficiency
- Monitor market trends, competitor trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Provide support and ad-hoc analysis for support and field teams.
- Partner with key stakeholders to launch, test, and analyze new initiatives.
- A bachelor’s or equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Math or related field preferred
- 3+ years of relevant Statistics, Consulting, Analytics, Data Engineering or Data Science
- Experience with statistical languages (SQL required, R/Python preferred) to retrieve/interpret large data sets.
- High Computer Proficiency (SQL, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with enterprise / POS systems
- Experience with synthesizing large scale data sets to generate insights and recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to structure problems and develop action plans.
- Track record of using data and insights to drive change and implement new initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, ability to clearly articulate insights to a wide range of audiences
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects and work with multiple business partners.
