As our Residential Senior Program Manager, you will provide direct supervision to Program Managers across six group homes. You will work collaboratively with our clinical and nursing team to ensure overall quality of services, consistency, and standardization of all programs. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to delegate and effectively manage your time to support the Program Managers and their staff.

Location: Residential group homes in the Merrimack Valley

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Overseeing 24/7 operations, Residential Senior Program Managers rotate emergency call responsibilities on weekends and holidays, typically every 5th weekend.

Compensation range: This is a 40-hour exempt full-time position. The annualized salary will be $58,240 – 63,544. This position is benefit eligible as of date of hire.

Job Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, motivate and evaluate Program Managers for assigned programs. Provide ongoing training, assess skills to determine effectiveness of training, give feedback and support on performance.
  • Oversee program budget management, spending and monitor audit reports regularly.
  • Discuss and plan for clinical needs of Individuals with Program Managers, Nursing and Behavioral Health teams. Attend monthly clinical review meetings.
  • Lead Program Manager and cluster meetings, participate regularly in Residential Management team meetings.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Design and monitor consistent and uniform standards and procedures.
  • Ensure that procedures and expectations are in place that facilitate compliance with quality assurance standards and applicable regulations, regular review of documentation and practices.
  • Assist Program Managers with developing specific program goals.
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Compliance and Improvement and the Quality Assurance Analyst to coordinate monitoring visits and identify unmet training needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field

Or

High School Diploma or GED with at least 5 years of experience in Human Services.

  • Two years’ experience working in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities in a management position. Experience running multiple group homes is preferred.
  • Candidates must be able to read, write, and comprehend English to accurately follow the Individual Service Plan (ISP), document services provided, and communicate effectively with individuals, families, staff and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent organizational, delegation and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer literacy, including experience with data management systems and recordkeeping platforms, such as HCSIS, eHana, and Relias.
  • Prior experience in a union environment is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing with minimum of 1 year driving experience.
  • MAP (Medication Administration Program) Certification; training is offered by Waystone to acquire certification within 6 months of employment.
