RESIDENTIAL GROUP HOME MANAGER

Residential Support Services is seeking a Residential Group Home Manager and Staff Lead.

Our staff in the Billings and Laurel areas support over eighty members of your community to work and play, make friendships, and contribute to the vibrant fabric of our city. Right now, we have an opening for a Residential Group Home Manager and Staff Lead for our Behavioral Home located in Billings Heights. If you have experience within the behavioral health developmental disabilities field, we want YOU!

Job Types: Full-time position.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High degree of empathy and compassion for others.
• Able to pass a criminal background check (State Mandated).
• Minimum of four (4) years work experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid Montana driver's license and insurability under RSS insurance.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Medication Certified.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Employment is subject to background and driving record verification.
  
  

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

• Foster dignity and independence for persons served.
• Understand and protect the rights of persons served.
• Arrive to assigned shifts as scheduled.
• Implement outcomes.
• Monitor individuals to ensure safety.
• Engage clients in recreational and leisure activities.
• Assist the clients to maintain the upkeep and cleanliness of their homes.
• Adhere to the menu and prepare and serve nutritious, home-style meals.
• Follow clients' daily schedules.
• Complete all required charting, T-logs, communication logs.
• Conduct monthly fire drills.
• Assist and train staff with completion of client care.
• Will be on call as necessary to ensure health and safety.
• Follow Licensing mandates.
• Provide 12 hours annual training for self and staff.
• Ensure each resident is receiving adequate medical and dental care.
• Complete evaluations of supervised staff.
• Complete monthly vehicle checklists.
• Provide Orientation to all new hires.
• Assure appropriate documentation for disciplinary action is completed.
• Hold monthly group home staff meetings, provides meeting minutes.
