Department Florida A&M University (FAMU)-Florida State University (FSU) College of Engineering invites applications from highly qualified individuals for a Research Faculty I position.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities The candidate must show evidence of research and collaboration in advanced understanding and modeling of harmful algal blooms (HABs). The selected candidate will conduct research, mentor students and assist in writing research grants. Example areas of interest include but not limited to:
Preferred Qualifications Previous Postdoctoral experience in related topic areas is preferred.

- Advanced modeling of HABs using data-driven and process-based models
- Field and laboratory experiments related to HABs
- Using remote sensing to characterize HABs
- Water quality modeling and analyses in coastal and terrestrial areas
- The response of water quality to various climate and weather scenarios
