Key Responsibilities
- Lead renovation projects from start to finish, including full-unit rehabs, kitchen/bath remodels, flooring replacements, and painting.
- Supervise and mentor a small renovation crew, ensuring quality control and timely project completion.
- Work hands-on in multiple trades including carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, windows/doors, and basic plumbing/electrical.
- Coordinate material pickups and ensure tools/supplies are ready and available for all job sites.
- Communicate effectively with property managers, vendors, and tenants when needed.
- Use smartphone apps to manage schedules, report project progress, and enter job details daily.
- Flex work schedule as needed for project deadlines, including occasional weekend or after-hours efforts.
- Minimum 5 years of residential remodeling or renovation experience.
- Strong leadership skills with experience directing small teams on-site.
- Broad expertise in multiple trade areas (general handyman skills).
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license; ability to transport tools and materials.
- Ability to operate, learn and use basic computer software as well as Property Management software as part of daily duties.
- Must live within 30 minutes of Buffalo, NY.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must own essential tools for general construction tasks.
- Proficiency with smartphones for job tracking and communication.
- Ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal supervision.
